14 And to him was given dominion and glory and kingship that[a] all the peoples, the nations, and languages would serve him; his dominion is a dominion without end[b] that will not cease, and his kingdom is one that will not be destroyed.

15 “As for me, Daniel,[c] my spirit was troubled within me,[d] and the visions of my head terrified me. 16 So I approached one of the attendants and I asked him[e] about the truth concerning all this; and he told me[f] that he would make known to me the explanation of the matter.
